🏛️ JMN Foundation

Philanthropy Rooted in Place. Strategy Designed by the People.

The JMN Foundation is the home of civic, economic, and community transformation in North St. Louis and beyond powered by its own born and raised philanthropist Dr. Jazzmine Nolan-Echols. We invest in infrastructure that is human, cultural, political, and generational—powered by the leadership of everyday residents, homeowners, and neighborhood associations.

From restoring trust in government to building up Black brick home neighborhoods, the JMN Foundation exists to ensure that civic power and generational wealth are no longer abstract—but lived, felt, and inherited.

🔍 OUR INITIATIVES

🗳️ Policy by the People

Civic infrastructure led by the very people it affects—neighborhood taxpayers, voters, and residents.
This initiative builds civic systems and platforms for public accountability, helping local people become policy architects and legislative influencers in their own communities.Because if policies shape our neighborhoods, we should shape the policies.

🧭 Think North St. Louis

Policy planning & research for neighborhoods and their associations.
We provide place-based research, data storytelling, and policy design for North STL neighborhoods. Whether it's zoning, safety, housing, or transit—we equip neighborhood leaders with the knowledge to speak truth to power.

Policy labs belong on our neighborhoods too.

💔 Project 14

Emotional intelligence for civic life in communities that have lost faith in public systems.
This initiative builds
Community EQ—helping residents name, process, and respond to generational disappointment in government through healing-centered dialogue, civic therapy, and trust restoration frameworks.

Because hurt communities still deserve a seat at the table.

🧱 Brick x Brick

A real estate fund for the reinvestment and revival of historic brick home neighborhoods.
We turn preservation into prosperity by offering equity-based tools and ownership pathways for North St. Louis residents to build legacy in the homes that built our neighborhoods.

It’s not gentrification. It’s generational restoration.

💼 The Coin Culture: Economic Development

Entrepreneurship for everyday people. Business strategy for those overlooked by traditional pipelines.
We fund and train Black-Owned and neighborhood-based businesses to thrive without compromise—whether they're blue collar, nonprofit, or micro-enterprise.

Our businesses don’t need saving. They need systems and investing.
